Build your white-glove handling plan
In Double Bay the truck is the cheap part. The job is the grand piano, the canvases, the marble and the cellar. Select the special pieces in your move and we will show you exactly how each is handled, and what to tell us so the quote is precise, not a guess.
About white-glove handling
Is this my final quote?
No. It is an honest plan for how each special piece is handled, so your quote is accurate and move day holds no surprises. Print the brief, send it with your enquiry, and we price the move on your real pieces and the access at both ends.
Do you really handle pianos, art and marble yourselves?
Yes. Pianos travel on a skid board with the legs and lyre removed; art and mirrors travel on edge, never flat; stone and marble go in a padded A-frame; fragile and high-value pieces are crated to size where it is warranted. We bring the right gear and enough hands for the weight and the stairs.
What about insurance for valuable items?
Our moves are insured, and for genuinely high-value pieces we arrange the right transit cover before move day. Tell us the insured value of anything significant when you enquire so the cover matches the piece. We never invent figures or guarantees, we just make sure the right cover is in place.
My item is not on the list. Can you still move it?
Almost certainly. The list covers the pieces we are asked about most, but we move all manner of valuable and awkward things. Add the closest match, then describe yours in the quote and we will tell you exactly how we would handle it.
